| The Salt Lake 2002 Winter
Olympics have now passed, and for me it can only be considered a blur etched
in the corner of my mind. Simply just another vacation-like period I can
only now remember while easing back into the chair and recalling the memories.
Some people chose to leave
the Salt Lake area on a vacation and not experience the perceived traffic
congestion and purported ills of party doers. I, on the other hand
being a state worker of limited means, was able to stay and work the Olympics.
A wonderful treat as it turned out, an experience not to forget.
Call it a vacation from my normal work at the Utah
Department of Transportation as a transportation planner.
